Parents As Partners Association (PPA)

At VISS, we believe that education thrives when parents and the school work hand in hand. The Parents as Partners Association (PPA) embodies this spirit of collaboration, fostering meaningful connections between parents, students, teachers, and the wider community.

Our Vision:

To promote partnership and foster ties among parents, students, teachers, and the community, enriching the cohesive learning experience for every child.

  • Inclusivity – We welcome newcomers and embrace diverse perspectives and experiences.
  • Collaboration – We team up with our community to achieve shared goals.
  • Commitment – With strong parent and school support, we are dedicated to c children’s health, well-being, and academic success.

I love spending time with my family and going roller skating at the weekend. I am so excited to join PPA team. Adiba Ali Wahab – PPA Executive Committee Member

Been a happy VISS family member since 2012. My three boys go to grade 11 and 7 respectively. Having a Master’s degree in Business, I served the Oil & Petroleum sector back in Pakistan, dealing in Brand Management and Advertising.
Consciously stepped aside from my profession to give my best to my children after moving here. Over the course of many years now, VISS has been a great partner, in their academic growth and personal development.
With PPA executive committee membership, I wish to bring my skill set and area of expertise to good use in organising various school events and generating new learning opportunities for children in classrooms.

Irada Al-Zuraiqi – PPA Executive Committee Member

I concluded a 12-year career as an executive manager to focus on raising my three children. My daughters graduated from VISS, and my son is in seventh grade. We’ve been in VISS for over eight years and as a member of the Parents as Partners Association, I have been widely resourceful, especially in event planning and organization, such as my role in the successful execution of last year’s movie night.
I aim to leverage my management experience to continue organizing events that benefit both students and the school community.

Rhea Dixit – PPA Executive Committee Member

My background in advertising, design, and event management allowed me to effectively contribute to all the PPA events conducted these past couple of years.
I think VISS PPA members are highly ambitious and constantly looking for ways to improve on each event. I’m happy to have helped with all the design requirements and in contributing to the decision-making process to make each PPA event a success. It’s been eight years now since we enrolled our two girls into VISS. They’re now adventurous sixth graders embarking on their middle school journey.
