School Governing Board (SGB)

The VISS Al Taawun School Governing Board (SGB) is comprised of dedicated volunteers who contribute their time, energy, and professional expertise to support our school community.

In alignment with the UAE School Inspection Framework, the SGB plays a critical role in the Leadership and Management of the school. While the Board does not involve itself in day-to-day operations, staffing, or individual financial transactions, it provides the essential strategic “bridge” between the school’s vision and its outcomes.

Strategic Focus:

  • Accountability & Support: Working closely with the Campus Principal to monitor school performance and ensure high standards of educational provision.
  • Strategic Direction: Developing long-term strategies that ensure VISS Al Taawun remains future-ready for generations of students
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensuring the school meets all regulatory requirements while fostering an environment of continuous improvement

Through this high-level oversight, the Board ensures that the school remains committed to its vision and values, while delivering exceptional international education.
